If you plan on visiting during the Thanksgiving holiday, there are a number of fun things to do along The Grand Strand. In addition to a variety of shopping options including Tanger Outlets, Coastal Grand Mall, and the unique shops at both Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach, we have chosen four awesome events below that we just know you will love!

Intracoastal Christmas Regatta – This annual parade of boats is a must see. Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the curtain rises on this spectacular maritime parade at the Little River Inlet. Gather your family and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the waterway from Little River to Dock Holidays Marina.  These boats will pass through Harbourgate and the event is just a short drive from Atlantic Breeze Ocean Resort and Bay Watch Resort.

La Belle Amie Vineyard, an operating vineyard open to the public, is located in the Grand Strand Area (which includes the coastal regions from Georgetown to Little River) of South Carolina. The Vineyard is a popular attraction for visitors to our wonderful beaches and hosts many popular festivals throughout the year. November 25th is a great time to visit for their Holiday Spirits Bonfire. Located just a short drive from our North Myrtle Beach properties, this is a great way to spend some time in nature and learn a bit about our history.

Merry Marshwalk Christmas Tis the season! For the first three consecutive Saturdays following Thanksgiving, (11/25) guests will enjoy a unique shopping experience, beginning at 10am and ending at 5pm, with local businesses and artists lining the MarshWalk. We look forward in celebrating A Merry MarshWalk Christmas with you, all while enjoying the most spectacular waterfront dining on the Grand Strand! Close to our downtown properties, the Marsh Walk is just a short drive from Ocean Park and Camelot.

South Carolina Blue Grass Festival – If you like Blue Grass, this is the event for you! With over 20 artists performing over the Thanksgiving weekend, you are sure to find one of your favorites at the 48th Annual South Carolina State Blue Grass Festival. Held at the Convention Center, this event is convenient for all guests at our downtown Myrtle Beach properties.
